Sleep Deprivation

As we get older, we begin to sleep less due to the homework and extra curricular that most students like to challenge themselves with. Sleep is very important and is critical to our health. However, even though studies show that an average teenager should have at least ten hours of sleep, most students only get around six to eight hours of sleep average. Why is this you may ask? Exessice amounts of homework is the reason. Since many students value their grades over sleep, many of them would rather sacrifice this over their own grades.
