The Bell Game

“The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart” -Robert Green Ingersoll

On Friday, Fountain Valley had their annual Bell Game against Edison, and as many of you may know, we have been losing for about 11 years in a row. In order to not lose hope, Fountain Valley has been keeping their hopes and spirits up all week through dress days and pep rallies. Despite our efforts, Fountain Valley still managed to be defeated once again. This raises many questions like how are we still losing? Will there ever be a day that FV will win? Even though our school is so much spirited than Edison, how do we afford to lose every year? Will the bell ever be ours?
