As finals begin to approach, many students are losing more and more sleep from studying and staying up late to catch up on late assignments. After reading an article on NY Times about insomnia, the inability to sleep, it allowed me to realize how common it is for a student to stay up all night studying or even just on their phone. As you get older, the chance for one to get insomnia increases. By using your phone late at night, it increases your chance of getting it as well. However, many students use that sleep time to socialize instead of actually sleeping. I believe that students should begin to realize how important sleep is now for a student and that they should be able to take that chance of extra sleep instead of simply going on social media.
